How Weldon's Method handles your information.

Last updated: July 20, 2026. This privacy policy explains what information Weldon's Method collects, how it is used, and how you can contact us about it.

Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide through Google Ads lead forms, on-site forms, Google Forms intake questionnaires, email, payment checkout, or direct communication. This may include:

Your name, email address, phone number, city, or other contact details.
Information about your homeschool planning situation, goals, constraints, budget, schedule, and decision timeline.
Information a parent or guardian provides about children in the household, such as ages, grade levels, learning needs, school situation, interests, and family priorities.
Payment confirmation information from Stripe. Weldon's Method does not store full payment card numbers.
Basic website analytics and advertising data from tools such as Google Ads and Google tag.

Free Homeschool Readiness Check

The Homeschool Readiness Check processes your selected answers locally in your browser. Your answers are not sent to Weldon's Method or an AI service unless you voluntarily choose a sharing option after seeing your complete result.

Temporary readiness-check progress may be stored in your browser's session storage so a refresh does not erase your place. That temporary session can be cleared with the readiness check's “Start Over” control and normally ends when the browser session ends. Website analytics may receive only coarse events such as starting the check, question number reached, completion, audience lane, recommended operating-model category, confidence category, rule version, resource clicks, and paid-tier clicks. The individual answers and child-related answer categories are not included in those analytics events.

If you choose “Share Anonymously,” Weldon's Method stores the coded readiness-check answers, coded result, rule version, general traffic-source information, and submission time without requesting your name or email address. If you instead choose “Share and Allow One Follow-Up,” the same response is connected to the first name and email address you provide, along with your permission for one planning-related follow-up. A separate, unchecked choice controls whether you also want occasional planning emails.

The sharing forms do not request child names, diagnoses, exact ages, schools, home addresses, phone numbers, or written explanations. Individual readiness-check response records are intended to be retained for no more than 180 days before deletion or aggregation. You may request deletion of an identified response by contacting Weldon's Method at the address below.

If you request immediate access to the homeschool plan explainer, Weldon's Method stores the email address and optional first name you provide, your permission for one planning-related follow-up, your separate choice about occasional planning emails, and broad traffic-source information. After a successful submission, the PDF opens immediately in your browser.

How we use information

We use submitted information to:

Respond to your inquiry or lead form submission.
Prepare the Family Decision & Action Brief, Guided Executive Walkthrough, Family Resource Decision Report, or related homeschool planning materials.
Communicate with you by email, including through Gmail.
Process purchases and confirm next steps after payment.
Understand website and ad performance so we can improve the site and advertising.

Use of AI and LLM tools

Weldon's Method may use artificial intelligence tools, including large language models, to help organize intake information, reason through family constraints, draft reports, and prepare planning materials. Information you submit may be entered into these tools for that purpose. Please do not submit information you do not want used in this way.

How information is stored

Information may be stored in email, Google Forms or related Google services, payment records, working documents, AI tool workspaces, and local files on a laptop used to prepare reports. Voluntarily shared readiness-check responses are sent through a protected endpoint on Weldon's Method's Vercel deployment and stored in a Neon Postgres database connected to that project. Response records are configured for a 180-day retention period and should then be deleted or aggregated. We use reasonable care to limit access and protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Homeschool plan explainer requests are also sent through a protected Vercel endpoint and stored in the connected Neon Postgres database so Weldon's Method can manage the requested access and permitted follow-up.

Sharing information

Weldon's Method does not sell your personal information. We may share or process information through service providers that help operate the business, including Google, Gmail, Google Forms, Google Ads, Stripe, Vercel, Neon, and AI/LLM tools used to prepare reports. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

Children's information

Weldon's Method is intended for parents and guardians, not for children to submit information directly. Parents or guardians may provide information about children so that planning materials can be tailored to the family. If you believe a child submitted information directly, contact us and we will review it.

How long information is kept

We keep information as long as needed to provide services, maintain business records, respond to questions, improve the service, or meet legal and operational needs. You may ask us to delete information, and we will make reasonable efforts to do so unless we need to keep it for legitimate business or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can choose not to submit a lead form or intake questionnaire. You can also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided.
